It’s a short school week at Benbrook Middle-High School, but there’s plenty packed into it before Fall Break begins.
The Lady Bobcats volleyball team gets things started Tuesday with a road trip to Diamond Hill-Jarvis. Matches are scheduled for 6 and 7 p.m. Middle school football also takes the field Tuesday, with seventh grade facing Monnig at Arlington Heights High School and eighth grade hosting Elder at Benbrook.
Wednesday brings more road action for Bobcat football, with the freshman and JV teams traveling to Kennedale for games at 5 and 6:30 p.m. Middle school volleyball also faces Meacham that evening, with seventh grade on the road and eighth grade at home.
Thursday closes out the week with two varsity matchups. Bobcat football faces Kennedale at Clark Stadium at 7 p.m., while Lady Bobcat volleyball hosts Carter-Riverside at Benbrook, beginning with varsity at 6 p.m.
Then it’s time for a break. Benbrook Middle-High School will have no school Thursday, Oct. 8, through Monday, Oct. 12, for Fall Break.
