Bobcats Head Back to School Monday.

The wait is over. Benbrook Middle-High School welcomes students back Monday, Aug. 10, and families have a few important first-day reminders.

Students should check the alphabetical rosters posted around campus for their correct first-period classroom, then report to that classroom to receive a printed schedule. BMHS says families should use FOCUS rather than ParentSquare for the most accurate schedule information.

Students should also arrive ready to follow campus dress code and device rules, including no hats, hoodies, headphones, earbuds or phones. Athletic pants, sweatpants and pajama pants are also prohibited.

Only juniors and seniors with consent from a parent or guardian may leave campus for lunch. Third-party food deliveries, including DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub, are not allowed.

After Monday’s first bell, Bobcat athletics quickly gets underway with volleyball, cross country and football throughout the week.

Lady Cat Volleyball plays Northside and Castleberry Tuesday, followed later in the week by the Battle at the Brook tournament. Friday brings cross country at the Kennedale Wildcat Run, Lady Cat Volleyball against TCA and Bobcat Football at Krum.
