Swimmers heading to the Benbrook Community Center YMCA will have to stay out of the water for now.
The YMCA has temporarily closed its pool while it completes a required inspection of the pool drain covers.
According to the YMCA, the pool will remain closed until the inspection is finished and it receives clearance to reopen.
No reopening date has been announced. The YMCA said it will provide an update as soon as the pool is cleared and apologized for the inconvenience.
For families with swim plans, lessons, or other pool activities, it may be worth checking with the Benbrook YMCA before heading out.
