If it has been a while since you last pulled out your library card, September comes with a good reason to find it, or get a new one.
The Benbrook Public Library is celebrating Library Card Sign-up Month with prizes for residents who sign up for a new card, renew an existing account or refer a friend to join.
Participants will receive a scratch-off ticket with a chance to win an instant prize and will also be entered into a grand prize raffle.
The month-long promotion is also an invitation for residents who haven’t visited in a while to come back and see what the library offers beyond its books.
The Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes St.
