Summer break in Benbrook also means it’s almost time for Bobcat summer camps.
Benbrook Middle-High School has released its 2026 lineup of athletic camps, giving students opportunities to sharpen skills, stay active, and connect with future teammates throughout the summer.
This year’s camps include wrestling, softball, baseball, soccer, basketball, football, volleyball, cheer, and a free strength and performance program for students in grades 7 through 12.
Families should note one important schedule change. The Lady Cat Softball Camp has been moved and will now take place June 23 through June 25.
The strength and performance camp runs Monday through Thursday across several summer sessions beginning June 8. Girls’ sessions are scheduled from 8:30 to 10 a.m., while boys’ sessions run from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
School officials say the camps are designed to help students improve fundamentals, learn Bobcat terminology and schemes, receive instruction from BMHS coaches, and build friendships heading into the new school year.
Most camps will be hosted at Benbrook Middle-High School athletic facilities, including the gym, football field, baseball field, and softball field.
