Dozens of Benbrook residents are without power Sunday afternoon as crews investigate an outage reported near Edmund Drive.
According to the outage information provided, the interruption was reported at 11:38 a.m. on Sept. 14 and is affecting 67 customers. The outage remains under investigation, with power estimated to be restored by 2:30 p.m.
Some residents have also reported hearing repeated banging in the area. While the cause has not been confirmed, nearby roofing work at the Cortland apartments has been mentioned as one possible source of the noise.
For now, the outage and the reported banging should not be assumed to be connected.
