What started as a community festival moment is now part of the record books.
Debbie Reynolds and Terri Janik of the Benbrook Lighted Par 3 and Range, along with Michael Furrh, have officially been recognized by Guinness World Records for building the largest golf ball pyramid.
The record-setting structure was assembled during the 17th Annual Benbrook Heritage Fest on September 27, 2025. Built with precision and patience, the pyramid rose to 38 rows and included a total of 19,019 golf balls.
The recognition goes beyond just numbers. It reflects the kind of creativity and teamwork that often shows up in local spaces, where community events turn into something bigger than expected.
For those who were there, it was a memorable sight. For those hearing about it now, it is a reminder that something as simple as a stack of golf balls can bring people together and leave a lasting mark.
