A section of Ben Day Murrin Road remained an active emergency scene Friday night after a reported auto-pedestrian crash resulted in a fatality.
According to DFW Scanner, the incident was reported just after 9 p.m. in the 7800 block of Ben Day Murrin Road.
Responding agencies included the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, Tarrant County ESD No. 1 Engine 570, Tender 570, Battalion 270, and Benbrook Engine 453. Initial reports indicated major injuries.
An update from the scene later confirmed the pedestrian was pronounced deceased. Emergency personnel remained on site overnight to investigate the crash, manage the scene, and reroute traffic. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes while the investigation continues.
