The scorecards are in, and another Wednesday night scramble at Benbrook Par 3 delivered plenty of memorable moments.
The highlight of the night belonged to young golfer Michael, who won the Closest to the Pin contest by sticking his shot just six inches from the cup. The winning team finished at 3-under, while a five-way tie for second was settled in a playoff. One player from each team stepped up to hit, with the final two teams claiming second and third place honors.
The evening also featured the course’s always entertaining “losers game,” where the winning team earned next week’s scramble free. The grand finale brought even more laughs as participants stood on the clubhouse deck and tossed golf balls backward over their heads, trying to land on the green.
The night also marked the end of an era for Brayden, who is moving on after working at Benbrook Par 3 since he was 16. Congratulations, Brayden, and thank you for the years of service. You’ll be missed.
