The countdown to the first day of school is on, and for Benbrook student-athletes, now is the time to ensure all required paperwork is complete.
According to Benbrook Middle School Football, students planning to participate in cross country, volleyball, basketball, track, soccer, or football must have a current physical and all required RankOne forms submitted. Athletes who have not completed the required paperwork by the end of the first week of school will be moved to PE for the first semester.
If you’ve already completed your physical, you can turn it in to the athletic trainers at the high school Field House before school, or bring it on the first day of school. Families who have not yet scheduled a physical are encouraged to do so soon, as appointment availability becomes more limited this time of year.
Coaches also noted that many middle school football players are still missing required paperwork, with only a small number of seventh- and eighth-graders having both their physicals and RankOne forms completed.
Parents can complete the required online forms through RankOne.
Taking care of these requirements now can help ensure your student is ready to hit the field, court, or course when the new school year begins.
