Before backpacks and homework take over, D-BAT Benbrook is giving young ballplayers one more week to sharpen their skills.
The Back 2 School Camp runs Aug. 3 through Aug. 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to children ages 5 to 12. Campers will receive instruction and stay active before the school year begins, and families can take advantage of the Bring a Friend for Free promotion.
The cost is $75 per day or $280 for the week, with a $30 sibling add-on available. Participants should bring their baseball or softball equipment, tennis shoes, water, and a sack lunch.
