FWISD Watchdog Weighs In on Reassigned Western Hills Principal Case.

The debate surrounding the reassignment of former Western Hills High School Principal Shayma Alzubi continues, with FWISD Watchdog arguing that the district’s handling of the situation leaves little chance of her returning to a principal role within Fort Worth ISD.

In a recent social media post, the group pointed to a new Fort Worth Report article stating that Alzubi says the district offered her a $130,000 administrative position after she was reassigned following public backlash over past social media posts.

FWISD Watchdog also compared Alzubi’s situation to those of former FWISD employees Georgia Clark and Joe Palazzolo, arguing that the district has a history of contentious personnel disputes and prolonged legal battles.

The organization was sharply critical of district leadership, contending that the situation was mishandled from the beginning.

The reassignment of Alzubi has drawn significant public attention and remains a topic of discussion across Fort Worth, with opinions differing on both the district’s response and the broader issues raised by the case.
