Benbrook Middle School volleyball had plenty to celebrate this week, from a sweep of Daggett to an eighth-grade tournament championship.
The Lady Bobcats swept Daggett, with several players earning recognition for their performances. Kaylie Jones was named player of the game for 7B, while Kalani Solomon and Cambree Fetters earned the honor for 7A.
For eighth grade, Scarlett Ware was recognized for 8B. Halle Feaster stood out for her setting and hitting for 8A, earning praise from Daggett’s coach as well. Isla Lacome was recognized as server of the game.
The eighth graders carried that momentum into Saturday’s FWISD Mid-Season Tournament, where Benbrook battled through the field and won the Gold Bracket.
A sweep during the week and gold on Saturday made it a strong stretch of volleyball for the Lady Bobcats.
