McDonald’s at 8516 Benbrook Boulevard scored 97 during a routine Tarrant County Public Health inspection Tuesday, October 13.
Inspectors documented two violations, including a ceiling leak near the kitchen fryers that could have contaminated nearby food and equipment. A trash can sat beneath the leak to collect water.
According to the inspection report, maintenance repaired the leak during the inspection, and employees cleaned and sanitized surrounding equipment and discarded affected food.
Inspectors also found employees’ personal food and drinks stored alongside food intended for customers in the walk-in cooler. Staff were instructed to keep those items separate.
Residents can review the findings in the official Tarrant County Public Health inspection report.
