Benbrook Middle-High School students get an extra day away from the classroom Monday, but once Tuesday arrives, Bobcat Nation has a full week ahead.
There will be no school Monday, Sept. 21, while teachers participate in an in-service day. Students return Tuesday with several BMHS teams jumping right back into competition.
The Lady Bobcats volleyball team hosts Eastern Hills Tuesday at 6 and 7 p.m., while eighth-grade football takes on Wedgwood at BMHS at 6 p.m. Cross country heads to Stephenville Wednesday morning for Thrill on the Hill.
Thursday brings middle school volleyball against Riverside, with seventh grade playing on the road and eighth grade at home. JV football travels to Southwest that evening.
Friday is another busy one. Lady Bobcats volleyball visits Dunbar, while Bobcat football faces Southwest at 7 p.m. at Handley Field.
The week wraps up Saturday with middle school cross country competing at the Lee Middle School Invitational and the Bobcat Band spending the day in Godley for the Wildcat Marching Festival.
So enjoy the Monday break, Bobcats. By Tuesday, the calendar gets busy again.
