Benbrook Fire Crews Remain on Ross Fire.

Benbrook firefighters remain on the ground at the Ross Fire, joining crews from across Texas as they fight to contain the massive wildfire.

According to the latest update from the Benbrook Fire Department, the fire has burned approximately 85,000 acres and is now 31% contained.

Benbrook crews continue working alongside other agencies and responding partners to strengthen containment lines and protect communities threatened by the fire.

For those of us back home in Benbrook, it’s another reminder that some of our own firefighters are among the many first responders still putting in long hours on the fire line.
