The Benbrook Middle-High School Lady Bobcats Soccer team made a confident statement to open play at the X Town Tournament, earning a 2- 1 win over Frisco Emerson High School at Rough Rider Stadium.

Hitting the field at noon with focus and energy, the Lady Bobcats got goals from sisters Sydney and Lily Chavez, with assists coming from Zoe Clark and Eleanor Vazquez. The win pushes Benbrook to 5 and 1 on the season and sets the tone for a busy tournament schedule.

The Lady Bobcats return to action Friday, January 16, at 1:30 pm when they face Montgomery at Saginaw High School.
