Luella Merrett Elementary School is inviting local veterans to start Veterans Day with breakfast as students and staff take time to recognize those who have served in the U.S. military.
The school will host a special Veterans Day breakfast on Wednesday, November 11, from 7 to 7:30 a.m. in the school cafeteria.
The gathering is an opportunity for the Luella Merrett school community to show its appreciation for veterans and thank them for their service and sacrifice.
Veterans planning to attend are asked to RSVP online by Monday, November 9.
