Ready or not, it’s time to fall back! Despite ongoing discussions about ending seasonal clock changes, daylight saving time ends this Sunday, November 1.
At 2 a.m., clocks will roll back one hour to 1 a.m., giving us an extra hour of sleep. But there’s a trade-off: earlier sunsets.
By Sunday evening, the sun will set around 5:36 p.m. in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, meaning it’ll start getting dark before many residents finish their workday.
Most smartphones and connected devices will adjust automatically, but don’t forget to reset those clocks around the house that still need a little help.
And while the mornings will get brighter earlier, those shorter evenings are here to stay for a while. Daylight saving time won’t return until March 14, 2027.
