Just in time for the holidays, Benbrook Public Library is teaming up again with The Tamale Co. to serve up something delicious while raising money for library programs.
From November 2 through November 13, residents can order tamales for $20 per dozen, with $8 from every dozen going directly to the library.
Four flavors are available: ancho pork, chicken verde, cheese, and black bean and corn.
Orders can be picked up at Benbrook Public Library on November 30 or December 1. They’ll announce additional pickup details closer to those dates.
Whether you’re stocking the freezer or planning holiday meals, it’s an easy way to enjoy some tamales while supporting a local community resource.
