Benbrook residents could soon share the road with more Teslas, and some may be picking up passengers.
According to a Facebook post from Dallas Texas TV, Tesla’s Robotaxi service began operating in Fort Worth on Monday, November 2, with passenger pickups reportedly starting at 6 a.m.
The reported service area stretches from downtown Fort Worth north to Saginaw, west to White Settlement, and south to Benbrook, bringing the company’s ride-hailing technology to communities across western Tarrant County.
While the report indicates Benbrook is included in the service area, specific pickup locations, ride availability, and whether vehicles are operating with human safety monitors have not been independently confirmed.
For now, residents interested in trying the service should check Tesla’s Robotaxi app to see whether it’s available at their location.
