As Fort Worth ISD prepares to welcome students back, district leaders are making time for more than schedules, classrooms, and first-day plans.
Superintendent Dr. Peter Licata and Board Member Luis Galindo recently joined the Chorizo and Menudo Community Breakfast, where they shared a district update and listened to Hispanic community members and leaders.
Licata also outlined his vision for the new school year, emphasizing the district’s commitment to working with families, community leaders and partners to help students succeed.
The gathering followed FWISD Convocation and offered district leaders another opportunity to strengthen relationships with the community before students return.
For FWISD, starting a new school year also means continuing the conversations and partnerships that support students beyond the classroom.
