Saturday brought plenty of Texas heat to Skyline Ranch, but Benbrook families found a pretty good way to cool down the last weekend before school starts on Monday for many Benbrook school-aged children.
The Benbrook Fire Department joined the neighborhood fun, turning its fire hose into an oversized sprinkler as kids ran through the water. Funky Town Freeze also stopped by with another welcome escape from the heat.
It was hot, it was wet, and judging by the smiles, it was worth every minute.
Just another summer Saturday in Benbrook, where sometimes a fire truck, a little water, and good neighbors are all you need.
