As families prepare for the new school year, one Fort Worth event is helping students head back to class with the essentials they need.
The Fort Worth Community Collaborative will host its Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 8629 Camp Bowie West Blvd., Fort Worth.
The free community event will provide school supplies, backpacks, food, haircuts, health services, entertainment, and music for students and families as they get ready for the first day of school.
Organizers say the goal is simple: help every student start the year with the tools and confidence to succeed. Community support, whether through donations, volunteering, or simply showing up, helps make that possible.
A backpack, notebook, or fresh haircut is more than just a school supply. Rather, it’s a strong start to a new year.
