If you have walked into the Benbrook Walmart recently, you may have noticed a bright splash of color near the front entrance.
Westpark Elementary students filled the space with their holiday coloring sheets, each one created to spread a little joy across the community.
The Westpark Wildcats PTA invited families to participate, and the response filled the store with joyful artwork that will remain on display through December 18. After that, the pieces will be delivered to nursing homes around town to bring a bit of Christmas warmth to residents.
A small act by local kids is already making a significant impact, reminding Benbrook how simple it is to lift someone’s day.
