A few minutes and a blood donation could make a lifesaving difference for someone who needs it.
Winscott Road Funeral Home & Cremation Services is partnering with the American Red Cross for a community blood drive Monday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The drive will be held in the chapel at 1001 Winscott Road in Benbrook.
Appointments can be scheduled through RedCrossBlood.org using sponsor code WinscottRoadFuneralHome. Donors can also schedule through the Red Cross Blood Donor App or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
Those who donate between Sept. 21 and Oct. 18 will also receive a $15 e-gift card, according to the event flyer.
