FORT WORTH, TEXAS — On a crisp Friday night, the heart of Sundance Square came alive as choirs from Fort Worth ISD filled the festive air with the sounds of classic Christmas carols.
Among the performers were the talented voices of Benbrook Elementary Schools—Benbrook, Rolling Hills, and Westpark—delighting the crowd with a medley of holiday favorites.
Hundreds gathered under the glow of twinkling lights, joining in song and soaking up the holiday spirit. The atmosphere was pure magic, with families snapping photos at Santa’s station and marveling at the magnificent 82-foot Norway spruce, the towering centerpiece of the square.
This iconic tree from Cadillac, Michigan, was lit earlier this week and is a beacon of joy. It surpasses the height of New York City’s Rockefeller tree and the National Christmas Tree in Washington, D.C.
This marks the 72nd year of the beloved Christmas tree tradition in downtown Fort Worth, adding another layer of nostalgia to the evening’s celebration.
For those who missed this enchanting performance, the Benbrook Pyramid Choir invites the community to a special holiday concert on Thursday, December 12th, at 7 p.m., hosted at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church. Don’t miss the chance to experience their angelic voices again this season!
