The first-week grace period is over at Benbrook Middle-High School.
Beginning Thursday, Aug. 20, students who arrive late to class will be sent through the school’s tardy lockout process.
High school students will report to Room 203 in the A Building, while middle school students will report to Room 302 in the B Building for a tardy pass.
Students will face disciplinary consequences after their fourth tardy during a six-week grading period, with tardy counts resetting every six weeks.
And grabbing a tardy pass is not an excuse for a longer stroll back to class. Students who take extra time returning may face additional consequences.
