Love, ambition, and the consequences of obsession take center stage as Western Hills High School Theatre presents On the Winds, an original adaptation inspired by Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
Student actress Chloe Parten portrays Elizabeth, Victor Frankenstein’s devoted love and one of his last connections to the life he risks losing. As Victor’s pursuit of greatness consumes him, Elizabeth’s story reveals the personal cost of his dangerous ambition.
Performances are scheduled for November 14 and 15 at 2 p.m. in the school’s Julia Worthington Black Box Theatre.
The student production offers audiences a fresh take on a literary classic, where the greatest monster may not be the one Victor created.
