Stockton Brothers Together Again, Jax Earns JUCO All-Star Nod.

Long before college baseball, All-Star selections, and recruiting decisions, Jax and Hudson Stockton were just two brothers playing BlastBall together on Benbrook fields.

Years later, baseball is bringing them together again.

Former Benbrook Middle-High School standout Jax Stockton has been selected for the 2026 NJCAA Texas-New Mexico All-Star Game, set for Sept. 17-20 at Dallas Baptist University. The Ranger College right-hander will take the mound alongside some of the top junior college talent from Texas and New Mexico.

For anyone who has followed Benbrook baseball over the years, the Stockton name is familiar.

Jax and younger brother Hudson grew up playing through the Benbrook Youth Baseball and Softball Association before both became four-year varsity players at BMHS. Their older brother, Cooper Stockton, is now president of the same organization where his younger brothers first started playing ball.

Jax graduated from Benbrook in 2025 and spent his freshman college season at North Central Texas College before transferring to Ranger.

Hudson followed a year later, graduating this past May after finishing his Benbrook career with a school-record 0.529 ERA.

Hudson originally planned to continue his career at Vernon College. Instead, his path changed and led him to Ranger, where he and Jax are teammates once again.

That decision also carries a little family history. Their dad played college baseball at both North Central Texas College and Ranger, two schools that have now become part of Jax and Hudson’s own baseball story.

And maybe that is what makes this week’s All-Star selection feel a little bigger back home.

Jax gets his moment on the All-Star stage at DBU, with plenty of family and Benbrook pride behind him. Then he heads back to Ranger, where something pretty special is waiting: another season of baseball with his brother.

From two little boys playing BlastBall in Benbrook to two college pitchers wearing the same uniform, Jax and Hudson are teammates again—just like old times.
