It has been a steady run all season, and the Benbrook Lady Bobcats now carry that momentum into the playoffs.
The team closed district play at 12-0 to secure the 2026 District 8-4A championship, finishing 18-12 overall. Now the focus shifts to the UIL Class 4A Region I Bi-District round, where the Lady Bobcats will face the Eagle Mountain Lady Knights, who enter at 19-13-1.
On paper, it is a tight matchup. On the field, it sets up as a test of precision and consistency in what is expected to be a game of runs and momentum swings.
The series opens Thursday, April 23, at 7 p.m. at Dutch Branch Park in Benbrook. Game 2 moves to Eagle Mountain on Friday at 7 p.m., with a third game, if needed, returning to Dutch Branch Park on Saturday.
