With temperatures expected to climb well above 100 degrees this week, staying cool is more than a matter of comfort. For many seniors and homebound neighbors, it’s a matter of safety.
Meals On Wheels of Tarrant County and TXU Energy are asking the community to help through the Keep Tarrant County Cool campaign. Donations will provide relief for vulnerable residents by supplying fans, cooling supplies, window air conditioners, utility bill assistance, and help with A/C unit installation.
Residents can also purchase much-needed items directly through the campaign’s Amazon Wish List or make a financial contribution to support cooling assistance.

- $250 toward window A/C unit installation
