What began as a pool maintenance issue at the Benbrook Community Center YMCA has led to a temporary facility closure.
The YMCA announced Wednesday morning that it will remain closed for the rest of Sept. 23 and part of Thursday morning while crews work to resolve the issue.
The trouble began Tuesday when the pool was closed because of an unexpected maintenance problem. By 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, the YMCA said its maintenance team needed additional help and was waiting for another company to assist with repairs.
No reopening time has been announced. The YMCA says it will provide another update once it has more information.
