FORT WORTH, TX – Mark your calendars! Fort Worth ISD is inviting high school students, parents, and guardians to attend College Night on September 17—an exciting opportunity for students to connect directly with college representatives and explore higher education possibilities.
With many colleges and universities eager to help students with applications, answer questions, and even discuss potential scholarship opportunities, this event is a fantastic way for students to jumpstart their college journey. Attendees can get face-to-face advice on navigating the application process and securing financial aid.
Transportation Available
Students and their families are welcome to make their way to College Night, but Fort Worth ISD offers bus transportation for up to 100 students on a first-come, first-served basis. Plus, those who opt for school bus transportation will be provided with a meal before boarding!
How to Secure Your Spot
To take advantage of the bus option, Benbrook Middle-High School students are encouraged to pick up a permission slip from Mrs. McCoy’s Room 115 or at the Go Center (Building A) as soon as possible. Seats are limited, so act quickly!
Come Prepared
Fort Worth ISD encourages all College Night students to bring copies of their academic résumé and unofficial transcripts. These documents can make a great first impression with college recruiters and maximize your chances of receiving personalized advice.
