Benbrook City Council to Consider Official Newspaper Designation.

Benbrook residents will have an opportunity to follow several city matters when the Benbrook City Council meets Thursday, June 18, at 7 p.m. at City Hall, located at 911 Winscott Road.

Among the agenda items is a resolution designating the Commercial Recorder as the City of Benbrook’s official newspaper. Council members are also scheduled to review and consider approval of minutes from the June 4 meeting.

Residents who wish to speak on agenda items may do so during the Citizen Comments portion of the meeting. Additional informal citizen comments will be accepted later in the meeting, although state law limits council discussion and action on topics raised during that portion.

Following the regular meeting, council members will hold a work session on the city’s Floodplain and Stormwater Management Program, which affects drainage, flood mitigation, and long-term infrastructure planning throughout the community.

As always, city council meetings offer residents a chance to stay informed, hear updates from city leadership, and participate in local government decisions that shape Benbrook’s future.
