If you want to stay connected to what is happening in Benbrook, Thursday night is a good place to start.
The Benbrook City Council will hold its regular meeting on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 7 PM in the Council Chambers at 911 Winscott Road. All agenda items are subject to final action.
The evening will begin with a call to order, followed by the invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. Residents will then have an opportunity to speak during Citizen Comments on any agenda item, with remarks limited to three minutes per speaker.
Council members are scheduled to review and consider approval of the February 19 meeting minutes. The City Manager will also present the Finance Report for the period ending January 31, 2026, including revenue, expenditure, and sales tax comparison updates.
A second public comment period, known as Informal Citizen Comments, will allow residents to address the council on topics not listed on the agenda. Under state law, council members cannot deliberate or take action on those items during the meeting, but may request staff follow up at a future date.
The meeting will close with announcements from council members and staff before adjournment.
The notice of the meeting was posted at City Hall and on the cityโs website in compliance with state law. Residents who want to review documents or stay informed can visit https://www.benbrook-tx.gov.
For those who care about the direction of their community, showing up or tuning in remains one of the most direct ways to stay involved.
