From storytime and teen art to mocktails and family games, there is plenty happening at the Benbrook Public Library this week. Families will want to note one change before heading out the door.
The library will be closed Friday, Sept. 25, for staff development and will reopen Saturday with more activities on the calendar.
The week begins with Move & Shake Storytime and Book Babies on Monday. Tuesday brings Explore and Play, Preschool and Bilingual Storytime, followed by Teen Fall Diamond Art that evening.
Wednesday includes Neurodivergent Storytime, Book Babies, Tween 3D Modeling, and Artful Endeavors. On Thursday, younger children can return for Explore and Play and Preschool Storytime before adults take over that evening for the Sugar & Spice Club.
After Friday’s closure, Saturday wraps up the week with AAC Storytime from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and Family Game Night from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Some programs require advance registration.
