TCU’s ‘Carter Boys’ Take on Big Shoes to Fill.

For several Horned Frogs, the opportunity is here. Now comes the work of making it their own.

Season 5, Episode 2 of TCU Football’s “Carter Boys” follows three players stepping into bigger roles: Max Carroll at Mike linebacker, Julius “JuJu” Simms at safety, and Ka’Morreun Pimpton at tight end.

Titled “Big Shoes to Fill,” the episode looks beyond the depth chart as Simms works through changes to his body and mindset, Pimpton takes advantage of his opportunity, and Carroll adjusts to the responsibility in the middle of the defense.

At the center of it all is a challenge from Head Coach Sonny Dykes for the Horned Frogs to leave complacency behind and build consistency and trust as the season approaches.
