The Benbrook Lady Bobcats volleyball season may be over, but there’s plenty to celebrate. From standout performances on the court to a perfect showing in the classroom, the team finished with several District 8 honors.
Senior Samantha Lindsey was named District 8 Offensive Player of the Year, while fellow senior Ennie Troqe earned All-District Libero honors.
Three Lady Bobcats earned First Team All-District recognition: Caroline Hayes, Lexi Lott, and Vayle Tungate. Hannah Herbert received Second Team honors, while Rory Berryhill, Kaitlyn O’Neill, and Dawson Cousins earned honorable mentions.
The accomplishments didn’t stop at the volleyball net. Every Lady Bobcat earned All-District Academic recognition, giving the team a 100% academic honor rate.
With two major district awards, seven additional All-District selections, and an entire roster recognized academically, the Lady Bobcats have plenty to be proud of as they close out their season.
