A Creative Afternoon Awaits at Benbrook Library.

Sometimes the best way to slow down is to make something with your hands.

The Benbrook Public Library is inviting residents to do just that with a hands-on paper quilling workshop just in time for Easter. Scheduled for Friday, April 10, from 2 to 4 p.m., the session offers a chance to learn a simple but eye-catching craft using thin strips of paper shaped into colorful designs.

Participants will be guided through creating their own Easter egg artwork using a quilling tool, with a variety of colors available. All materials are provided, making it an easy entry point for anyone curious to try something new.

The workshop is open to ages 18 and up, and registration is required.

For those looking to step away from screens and routines for a couple of hours, this is a chance to create something personal, meet others in the community, and leave with a piece of art that carries a bit of the season.
