A little paper, a simple tool, and a bit of creativity are coming together at Benbrook Public Library later this month.
The library will host a Paper Quilling Flowers workshop on Friday, May 22, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., giving adults the chance to learn the relaxing art of paper quilling while creating colorful floral designs to take home.
Participants will use thin strips of paper and a quilling tool to roll, shape, and arrange designs into flower patterns. Multiple paper colors will be available, and all materials are included with registration.
The class is open to ages 18 and older, and registration is required.
For residents looking for a quiet afternoon activity or a chance to try something creative and new, the workshop offers a hands-on way to slow down and make something unique.
Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes Street in Benbrook. Additional information is available by emailing, calling 817-249-6632, or visiting the Benbrook Public Library website.
