There’s a new addition at the Fort Worth Zoo, and he’s already stealing hearts. Born on October 6, the zoo’s newest giraffe calf arrived standing just 5 feet 8 inches tall—one of the smallest calves ever born there.
In just a short time, this little guy has grown stronger and is now exploring his new home alongside the rest of the herd. Visitors can now spot him out on habitat, taking his first steps into the world and soaking up plenty of attention from guests and caretakers alike.
The Fort Worth Zoo promises more updates on this adorable newcomer soon. To learn more about the zoo and plan your visit, go to fortworthzoo.org.
