Westpark Legacy Scholarship Opens for BMHS Seniors.

For some Benbrook seniors, the walk back through Westpark Elementary this May could mean more than a trip down memory lane.

The 2nd Annual Westpark Legacy Scholarship will award two Benbrook Middle-High School seniors who once attended Westpark Elementary, recognizing and supporting them as they prepare for life after graduation.

The scholarship is designed to celebrate students whose educational journey began at Westpark and now brings them to the finish line at BMHS. It is a full-circle moment for seniors who started in those elementary hallways and are now preparing for their next chapter.

Applications are now open, and interested students can apply online through the scholarship form. The deadline to apply is May 1.

Recipients will be announced during the Senior Walk at Westpark on May 19, adding an extra layer of meaning to a day already filled with reflection and celebration.

For graduating seniors with Westpark roots, this is a chance to be honored by the place where it all began.
