BENBROOK, TX—The playoffs are here, and the Western Hills Cougars boys and girls soccer teams are ready to make a run!
The Cougars wrapped up the season with a 9-9-2 overall record and an 8-6 district mark, securing 4th place in the standings. Meanwhile, the Lady Cougars battled through the season to finish 9-12 overall, but a strong 9-5 district record landed them a 3rd place spot heading into the postseason.
Both squads are set for a Friday night playoff showdown against Castleberry High School, with the girls kicking off at 6 p.m. and the boys following at 8 p.m.
To amp up the energy, Western Hills is rolling out a Soccer Playoff Spirit Bus for the FIRST 40 students who sign up. Riders get free entry to both games and free pizza—a deal too good to pass up! The bus departs from the front of the school at 5 p.m. and returns at 10 p.m. A signed permission slip must be turned in to Coach Sutton to secure a spot.
Let’s pack the stands and cheer on our Cougars!
