Lady Cougars Hoops Fall to Southwest, Look to Bounce Back in Season Finale.

FORT WORTH, TX – While the Western Hills Cougars struggled against the Southwest Raiders, falling 89-33, the Lady Cougars put up more of a fight in their district showdown at Billingsley Field House.

Despite keeping it competitive, costly late turnovers proved too much to overcome as the Lady Raiders pulled away for a 45-34 victory to close out the Lady Cougars regular season. But it’s not over though.

With the loss, the Lady Cougars drop to 14-13 overall and 8-4 in district play, currently holding the #3 spot in the standings as they enter into postseason play next week when they travel to Krum next Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
