While the Western Hills Cougars boys soccer team earned a tight 1-0 win over Eastern Hills, it was the Lady Cougars who truly stole the show with a commanding 7-2 victory over the Eastern Hills Lady Highlanders.
With the win, the Lady Cougars have now won two straight, pushing their record to 2-7 overall and 2-0 in district play, holding onto the 2nd spot in the district rankings.
Both teams now get a well-deserved break this weekend but will need to quickly refocus as they prepare for an epic showdown with cross-town rival Benbrook Bobcats next week. It’s going to be a rivalry clash you won’t want to miss!
