Monday’s commute got off to a slow start after a vehicle crash was reported just before 8 a.m. near Aledo Road and RM 2871.
Emergency crews and law enforcement responded quickly, and traffic backed up in both directions as the scene was cleared.
Authorities reported minor injuries, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. By about 8:35 a.m., the roadway had reopened and traffic had returned to normal.
