BENBROOK, TX — The Lady Bobcats soccer team just wrapped up a phenomenal season, and Benbrook has every reason to be proud. From dominating the district to earning academic honors, these athletes proved they’re a force to be reckoned with both on the field and in the classroom.
Leading the charge this year was standout Sydney Chavez, named UIL District 7-4A Overall Most Valuable Player—a well-earned honor for a player who made a major impact all season long.
Joining her on the All-District First Team are Leah Jimenez, Randee Slater, Jessica Anzaldua, Lily Carias, and Lily Chavez. The recognition continues with Grace Klaerner, Lexie Garcia, Kira Cleveland, Brooke Moreno, and Fion Chan locking down Second Team honors. Honorable mentions went to Arianna Labue, Avery Bates, Olivia Zapata, Samantha Gloria, and Belinda Martinez.
But it wasn’t just goals and assists that stood out. Nineteen Lady Bobcats earned Academic All-District honors, showing that excellence doesn’t stop when the whistle blows. These student-athletes are raising the bar in every way.
As the team looks ahead to next season, Benbrook is rallying behind them with pride and anticipation. Relive the highlights of their undefeated district run at BMHS Ladycat Soccer on Facebook.
