Give Blood During Benbrook’s Run for the V.

Benbrook residents have another way to give back during this year’s Run for the V, and it only requires rolling up a sleeve.

Benbrook VFW & Auxiliary Post 10429 will host a Carter BloodCare blood drive Sunday, Sept. 20, from 8 a.m. to noon at 1000 Stevens Drive.

The Carter BloodCare bus will be on site during Run for the V, giving runners, walkers, supporters, and anyone else in the community an opportunity to donate blood for patients at North Texas hospitals. You do not have to participate in the 5K to donate.

Donors will receive a Carter BloodCare magnetic phone charger while supplies last. A photo ID is required.

So, run it, ruck it, walk it, or simply stop by and give. Either way, Sunday morning offers Benbrook another chance to show up for its neighbors.
