For Rolling Hills Elementary students who like figuring out how things work, Monday afternoons are about to get a little more electric.
The Pierce Institute is bringing ElectroLab to campus for students in grades 2-5. Using Snap Circuits, students will build electronic projects that buzz, glow, spin, and flash while learning how electricity works through hands-on experimentation and problem-solving.
The six-week program meets from 3:20 to 4:20 p.m. on Aug. 24 and 31, Sept. 14 and 28, and Oct. 5 and 19. Cost is $130.
The Pierce Institute is also returning as a Rolling Hills PTA sponsor for its fifth consecutive school year.
Enrollment is limited. Parents can reserve a spot by providing their childโs name and grade. Call 682-803-1965 or email staceypierce@pierceinstitute.com.
For young Bobcats who would rather build the circuit than simply read about it, ElectroLab offers a chance to see science come to life.
